Dear Customer,

We wish to inform you that, pursuant to Articles 13 and 14 of EU Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR), your personal data will be processed fairly and transparently, for lawful purposes, and in a manner that protects your privacy and rights.

 

The processing will be carried out, including with the aid of IT tools, for the following purposes:

  1. Comply with current administrative, accounting, and tax obligations;
  2. Comply with the obligation under Article 109 of Royal Decree No. 773 of June 18, 1931, which requires us to register and communicate the personal details of our guests to the Police Headquarters;
  3. Meet the institutional public interest requirements of the Autonomous Region of Sardinia as set forth in Regional Law 16/2017 and Regional Law No. 23/2018;
  4. Comply with the obligations arising from the ISTAT surveys on “Accommodation Capacity” (code IST-00138) and “Customer Movement in Accommodation Establishments” (code IST-00139);
  5. Respond to messages and phone calls addressed to you;
  6. Expedite the registration process for your future stays at our hotel;
  7. Send you promotional messages and updates on our rates and offers.

 

We also wish to inform you that providing your data for the processing referred to in points 1, 2, 3, and 4 is mandatory, and if you refuse to provide it, we will not be able to accommodate you in our accommodation establishment.

 

If you wish the processing referred to in points 5, 6, and 7 to be carried out, you will need to provide your consent. You may subsequently withdraw your consent by objecting to the processing.

 

For any further information, and to exercise your rights under Article 15 of the GDPR, you may contact the Data Controller.

 

The personal data you provide for the purposes referred to in points 1, 2, 3, and 4 may be made accessible to:

  • employees and/or collaborators of the accommodation establishment, in their capacity as authorized data processors and/or system administrators.
  • employees and/or collaborators of the Autonomous Region of Sardinia, in their capacity as authorized data processors and/or system administrators, for the purposes of the regional administration or delegated by ISTAT.
  • third parties entrusted with the provision of services on behalf of the Autonomous Region of Sardinia, in their capacity as data processors. The data processor, limited to the operations duly defined in the designation deed, is GRUPPO INFORMATICA E SERVIZI G.I.E.S. S.r.l., with registered office at Via Enrico Notaio no. 23, CAP 47892 Acquaviva (San Marino).

 

The data may be communicated or made available, without the need for consent, to supervisory bodies, law enforcement agencies, the judiciary, and other public administrations in cases provided for by law for institutional purposes.

Your personal data will be retained for 24 (twenty-four) months. After this period, the data will be deleted.

Article 15 of EU Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR)Right of access to the data 1. The data subject shall have the right to obtain from the controller confirmation as to whether or not personal data concerning him or her are being processed, and, where that is the case, access to the personal data and the following information:a) the purposes of the processing;b) the categories of personal data concerned;c) the recipients or categories of recipients to whom the personal data have been or will be disclosed, in particular recipients in third countries or international organizations;d) where possible, the envisaged period for which the personal data will be stored, or, if not possible, the criteria used to determine that period;e) the existence of the right to request from the controller rectification or erasure of personal data or restriction of processing of personal data concerning the data subject, or to object to such processing;f) the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority;g) where the personal data are not collected from the data subject, any available information as to their source;h) the existence of automated decision-making, including profiling, referred to in Article 22, paragraphs 1 and 4, and, at least in those cases, meaningful information about the logic involved, as well as the significance and the envisaged consequences of such processing for the data subject.2. Where personal data are transferred to a third country or to an international organization, the data subject shall have the right to be informed of the appropriate safeguards pursuant to Article 46 relating to the transfer.3. The controller shall provide a copy of the personal data undergoing processing. For any further copies requested by the data subject, the controller may charge a reasonable fee based on administrative costs. Where the data subject makes the request by electronic means, and unless otherwise requested by the data subject, the information shall be provided in a commonly used electronic format.4. The right to obtain a copy referred to in paragraph 3 shall not adversely affect the rights and freedoms of others.
